Some of my 23 medications cause insomnia. I experienced this in full force Thursday night... did not sleep at all. Very bad. But then Friday night I was so tired I actually slept for about two 4 hour stretches! i felt rested today and now at 11:30 pm Saturday am beginning to feel sleepy. Good night everybody. Dave

clinic today: good news
Today was a clinic day... in at 6:30 for blood work to check my 23 meds I am on. Dr. Zand says I a doing quite well, and actually took out some of my staples! Also my incsion is healing well and the problem area is improving: the three hour-long airout sessions are apparently working.

Today is going well. I have my next clinic visit with the transplant team tomorrow: the big question is if my 45 plus staples are healing well wnough and the incision is dry enough to not have something done to it... I ahve been airing out for one hour , three times each day to help this process along. Ihope I do not need some "procedure" to be done... I understand that would delay my healing time... Dave

Three weeks from transplant
September 5, 2007 It is getting a little easier each day for us to move around the house. Recovery is slow, but I am getting used to my daily routine, which has about two dozen items on it,that need to be done in a certain sequence and at certain times. Please write with any comments or suggestions. Dave
